HEVEN's portfolio is built around sector platforms, deeply embedded with experienced leadership expertise and tailored systems and infrastructure to grow and support a network of businesses within its field. Rather than investing in businesses in isolation, we build at the platform level, creating compounding value across each sector. Our platforms span essential care services, early education, technology, business services and investment capital.

ELO

The ELO Group

An early learning and childcare platform operating a network of centres across New South Wales and Queensland. Built around educational quality and consistent care standards, the ELO Group provides major process and facility upgrades, sector-built custom technology and operational support across all sites, enabling each centre to deliver better quality care and occupy more places than it could running independently. HEVEN partnered with two early learning executives in 2021, successfully completing multiple capital raises to grow from inception to a portfolio of over 15 centres with a strong acquisition pipeline.

Pharmacy

Pharmacy

Pharmacy Circle

PharmaCircle

A community pharmacy network built around trusted patient relationships and whole-of-community health. HEVEN's pharmacy roots go back to 2012, when founder Mena Mikhail began operating pharmacy businesses across rural and regional Victoria, growing the underlying margin of his initial two pharmacies by 100% before exiting those early sites. That model has since evolved into PharmaCircle: a network spanning eight pharmacies across the Eastern seaboard, applying centralised procurement, shared operations and supplier consolidation to drive efficiency, while each location continues to serve as a primary health touchpoint for its local community.

Independent Grocers of Australia

From 2017, HEVEN partnered with a family-owned grocer generating around $5M in annual revenue from one location. Through strategic investment, hands-on operational support, and shared services across staffing, retailing, project fitouts and day-to-day management, the business was scaled to over $25M annual revenue across multiple locations Victoria-wide. The group successfully navigated COVID-19 and was sold via trade sale 2024 once expansion objectives had been met.

Exited

Corner Co 1903

In 2018, HEVEN acquired a distressed hospitality site in vacant possession, facing declining sales and unpaid rent, and executed a complete commercial turnaround. A three-business-unit strategy was built around Corner Co. 1903 as a food and cafe offering, alongside a laundromat and a new commercial tenant added to the site. Within 12 months, the venue had converted to $3M+ in annual sales. By exit, annual sales had grown fifteen-fold from where they started. The business was exited in 2022.

Investing with Mena in the childcare model has been great, with no issues at all. What gave us confidence was the skin in the game and their experience. The investment has delivered 12%, and that’s what we are receiving - 5/5 for communication, service, and returns.
Ramy Attia
Investor
Trust, honesty and transparency are all attributes I highly value in Mena. This is a passive investment for me, and Mena takes care of end-to-end business management services, including recruitment, HR, IT, leasing, and business operations.
Michael Botros
Investor
It was extremely easy working with HEVEN. They always have the answers, with a lot of information given and a lot of transparency. Mena is very fair, very calculated and very concise, and his organisation, information, data collection, and focus on the end game have greatly supported ongoing management, business growth, and sustainability.
John Georgy
Investor
Mena has been patient, respectful, and a delight to work with throughout my path to business ownership and beyond. HEVEN has provided mentorship and real-time actionable support, helping with problem solving, escalation, staff management, and conflict in the workplace. The business investment has delivered the types of returns expected, and Mena exceeds expectations in every facet.
